This is one of Sam’s mother Susie’s favorite hymns, which she sang in a women’s trio in her twenties. Sam learned this song from family & friend singalongs as a child. We wrote our own verses to reflect our daily practices of gratitude and mindfulness.

lyrics
Refrain:
Farther along we'll, know all about it,
Farther along we'll, understand why.
Cheer up my darling, live in the sunshine,
We'll understand it, all by and by.
Elisabeth’s Original Verse:
“Why must I tremble, with fear in the nighttime, wake in the morning, with trouble in mind? May we be grateful, each moment of breathing, each moment of living, one day at a time.”
Samantha’s Original Verse:
“Lately I wonder, wand’ring in limbo, pining for answers, etched in the sky.
Help lift me out, love, out of the waiting, waken my senses, and quiet my mind.”
